Hamilton, MI:
In mid-July, we began framing a custom site-built 2,090 sq. ft. 2-story “saltbox” home for Steve and Debbie Safranski at 3597 Rustic Lane just off 36th St. Set against the woods in back and overlooking rolling fields, the traditional early-American style home includes a separate library, large living room and attached family room.

Walkerville, MI:
We are pulling permits and getting ready to start construction on a custom site-built 1,600 sq. ft. home for Steve Tamulis on a beautiful, secluded site located on 80 acres bordering the Manistee National Forest. The home will have cathedral ceilings finished in white pine t&g, a see-thru, double-sided, wood-buring stone fireplace, a master bedroom jacuzzi, and multiple windows and sliders overlooking the water and accessing the wrap-around porch.

RECENTLY FINISHED HOMES

Mears, MI (Silver Lake):
In April, we began framing a custom site-built 2,496 sq. ft. 3-story home in the dunes overlooking Lake Michigan for Rich and Martha Neilsen at 2910 Sahara Trail. We finished the home 10 weeks later. With wrap-around decks and mulitiple windows and sliders taking in the stunning lake views, the Neilsens are now spending the summer enjoying the sunshine in their new home.

Belmont, MI:
This winter, we built a beautiful, new 2,400 sq. ft. Cape Cod for David and Darlene Jensita at 2560 Rogue River Rd. With 3 dormers, an attached garage, and a full, covered, “country-style” front porch, the Jenista’s new home sits off the road in the perfect setting for a peaceful retreat close to the city.

Ravenna, MI:
Last fall, we broke ground on Tom and Betty Cartier’s new home at 12330 Bailey Rd. in early September. The 1,920 sq. ft. home is based on our Crest Blairwood Model, but by adding a full, 8’ deep, covered front porch, 9’ ceilings, a 9/12 roof pitch, and a gorgeous full stone fireplace, they took a great floor plan and made it even better. The Cartiers moved in to their new home on Oct. 24, just 7 weeks after breaking ground.

Marne, MI:
Last summer, we built a beautiful, new 1,706 sq. ft. home for Stephen and Courtney Willard on their property at 2031 Hayes Rd. Overlooking a winding creek, we built their home on a full walkout basement with lots of windows and a french-style door. We also added on a large, attached garage and a covered, craftsman-style front porch.

White Cloud, MI:
Last winter (2008), Nancy Phillips lost her home at 1109 Pine Hill Ave. to a house fire. Last spring/summer, we built Nancy a beautiful new 1,920 sq. ft. home based on our Schult Blairwood Model. We finished the entire basement and added on a full, covered, “country style” front porch and a rear deck.
